Boro ladies completely overwhelmed Newark in this league game. They have successfully recruited new players in the last couple of weeks and Nat Smart in her first ever game opened the scoring. Another new signing Emma Eley was also on the score sheet plus two each coming from Emily Underwood and Teresa Bowden-Jones. However the top points scorer was Victoria Cambell with five tries and twelve conversions and the final try was credited to skipper Elaine Addy. Hooker Janita Dickens starred in the pack but the woman of the match award went to new girl Emma Eley.
