Wellingborough 28 - 3 Towcester
Wellingborough welcomed a youthful looking Towcester team to a wet and windy Cut Throat Lane.
Boro were eager to put last weeks performance behind them and gain some much need points against a Towcester team who have also struggled in the league this season.
From the start Boro showed more determination and conviction both going forward and in defence. Try's from Bobby Dhillion, Ben Heffernan, George Shipman and Jonny Schoeman rewarded Boro for trying to run the ball at ever opportunity despite the poor conditions. Joel Dyer kicked two penalties while Schoeman got one conversion.
Next week the seconds take a break from league action and travel to local rivals Old Grammarians in a friendly fixture.
