Great team spirit see's boro over the line
The A team made a short trip to scouts for an early kick off. The game was a tight affair with neither team giving much away in defence. Tries from Alex Booth, Jevan Davies and James Clancy as well as one conversion and two penalties from Rob Armstrong got the A team's points. Scouts where looking strong towards the end as boro went down to 13 men with injuries and Adam White getting sin binned. But great team spirit and doggedness saw boro hold them out.
Dick of the day went to me Rob Armstrong for throwing the ball over Hulsey's head for a scouts prop to outpace me to score.
Saxby Cider Man of the Match went to Joesph Barltrop
Next weeks game is versus Bugbrooke 2nd's at home.
