Wellingborough Rugby Football Club first launched a Ladies side in 1995; we have had many adventures since this time having recruited a wide range of ladies to play for the side and have always performed to a high standard.

We always welcome friendly matches from teams across the country and league matches generally lead to new friendships being made.

The team prides itself on passion and grace having always given 100% to raising the profile of Ladies Rugby, keeping the sport alive in Wellingborough and across Northamptonshire, at times being the only Ladies competitive team in the county.

There has always been a fantastic social side to the club and many Rugby tours have been embraced alongside fundraisers and social events.

No matter what your age, ability, shape, motivation or experience Wellingborough Ladies welcomes YOU!

We play at a competitive level, with the rugby season beginning in September and ending in April. Matches are played on Sunday afternoons and training is on Thursday evenings.
