Boro welcomed Kettering to Cut Throat Lane on a bright cold day and it was Boro that started the stronger camped out on the Kettering line. a series of penalties saw a yellow card for the Kettering Hooker that was followed by a further yellow for the Kettering Captain after a disagreement with the referee.
Boro opened the scoring through Billy Hyman but the conversion was missed, Boro then went through a phase of missed tackles that allowed Kettering to score and convert to lead. Boro then upped their game and Ben Plowman raced through to score before Josh Anderson went half the length of the pitch to add another, James Maher converting both. Kettering then scored out wide with the last play of the half to make the score 19-12.
The second half saw Kettering use more width and as Boro tired Kettering scored 3 converted tries and a Penalty to take the victory 36-19. There were good games from the back row and the centres but the MuMu man of the match this week was Connor Gordon.
