What a game! The entire team were on fire. ON'S are a good team they came out wanting to win this very important match, but Wellingborough were not going to let this phase them. From the first blow on the whistle the girls gave it there all and within minutes had scored the first try. The scrums were massive, the rucking was superb, the passing was outstanding, the tackling was fantastic. So many great runs and the support was unbelievable. No one player ran that pitch without at least one player closely behind. Stand out moment when ON'S were at the try line and almost in for their first points, Wellingborough put up the steel gates and were absolutely not letting them in. Their fight was worth it when the final whistle blew and you knew you had done what you set out to do.
Player of the week is the toughest yet as all girls deserve it but this week it goes to Hannah Walton.
