Superb first game for the new U18's

First match of the season went so much better than expected, with a very young squad and many relatively new players we were expecting a very tough and challenging game. The u18 girls have had quite a reputation for the last 2 seasons and I know this year the girls did not want to spoil that. They certainly made the opposition aware early on that they can run, they can ruck, they can maul and they can score!!!!! And that they did several times over. The defence was superb only letting one try pass them. The newer players never showed themselves as new and I think the Harborough coach thought I had lied about the girls not all training together as it never showed.
