Wellingborough welcomed Daventry to Cut Throat Lane on a mild autumn morning. Having just begun our journey in rugby we are just finding our feet and I am very impressed with your defensive lines your tagging and there was also some awesome running and passing. What we will be working on over the next couple of weeks is putting this all together at the same time.
We were second best to a good Daventry team today but we are moving in the right direction so well done everyone. I think you all played within the Core Vales of rugby which are - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship well done.
Note on Power Rangers - Not knowing anything about them but having seen you practising their moves today and last week, thankfully not on your team mates or opposition, I do not think they would be good rugby players and the ninja moves are not appropriate for our game. I am looking for the skills of Courtney Lawes or George North so can we leave the Power Rangers at home for a hour on Sunday morning please.
See you all next week - Simon
Kettering Festival next week I will publish the details in the match preview shortly.
